Novi Sad restaurants & cafes
Novi Sad is the relaxed Vojvodina hub: Pannonian home cooking, a lively café scene around the centre, and the wine villages of Fruška Gora close by. Vetted places downtown and near Petrovaradin.
Novi Sad’s dining centres on the pedestrian core around Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska, with traditional Vojvodina cooking, grill, and a strong café and bakery culture. Just across the Danube the Petrovaradin side and the Fruška Gora wine villages (Sremski Karlovci) add wineries and konobas. Prices are generally gentler than in Belgrade.
Below are our vetted places in Novi Sad. For the basics of Serbian and Vojvodina cuisine - grilled meats, freshwater fish stew, local wine - see the guide to the cuisine; each venue shows the check date.
This section is being filled in: vetted places with honest descriptions and a check date will appear here soon.
